MY STORY

Hi, I'm Diana Taylor

I grew up in New York City in a successful theater family, and moved to Los Angeles at 12 after my parents divorced. My life started sitting in the audience watching my father perform on stage in every Broadway musical under the sun. I followed in his footsteps at the tender age of 10. However, at 27, I had an epiphany. I realized my passion burned brighter over an old gas stove in my kitchen than under the glow of canned stage lights.

That's when I packed up my belongings and moved from NYC to LA to start my culinary education. As a Professional Chef of 18 years, I've worked in many famous kitchens, for big catering companies, prominent celebrities and as a personal chef delivering prepared meals all over Los Angeles.

When I became a mother for the second time, I shifted my attention toward our families health and wellness goals, and became a Certified Integrative Nutrition Health Coach. It was then, I realized my purpose was to help give people like me the tools they needed to reinvent their story, see themselves with fresh eyes, and believe anything is possible if you look deeply enough and put in the work.

I love people and I love listening to people share their story.

Nurtured Root Wellness is my passion project, born from the desire to weave together the roots of my past with my future self and help others do the same. It is a sacred and powerful place where I hold space for women of all ages to nurture themselves and reconnect with their needs on a deeply rooted, soulful level. It is a place to find balance, empowerment, contentment and peace.
